U.S. Media Reports On Trump’s Bermuda Plane

Numbering on his private jet indicating that real estate tycoon Donald Trump’s plane is registered in Bermuda has caught the attention of some online media outlets in the U.S, especially as Mr Trump is reported to be exploring a possible for run for the Presidency in 2012.

When asked if he plans to run for President, the 64-year-old told Fox News that, “This is the first time I am — at least I’m considering it. That doesn’t say I’m going to do it … but I am seriously considering it.”

His campaign has also been reported by some American media as a possibly a promotional tool for Mr Trump and his reality show ‘The Apprentice.’

Popular political website Politico said, “The news that Donald Trump is headed to New Hampshire reminds me of yet another mark of the lack of seriousness in his presidential ambitions, noted by a reader who happened to note the tail number of the signature Trump jet that parked in Des Moines not long ago.”

“The tail number begins “VP-B,” a code indicating Bermuda registration — which may be useful for tax and regulatory purposes, but probably isn’t a great vehicle for an American candidate.”

The left leaning Daily Kos website mentioned Mr Trump’s plane being registered in Bermuda, and posted three satirical points, one saying “Last, but certainly not least, it gives Donald Trump real-world foreign policy experience, something that virtually none of the GOP field can claim.”
