Business Bermuda Attends Shorex Forum
For the third time, the world’s leading Shorex Wealth Management Forum was held in Singapore to address the growing need of the Asian market for private banking, asset management and international tax planning solutions and services. Shorex, held on the 12 April at Suntec Singapore, offers a unique platform where professionals can network to explore new services, products and ideas in wealth management.
The event attracted over 50 exhibitors and 1,400 delegates from Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Taiwan, the Emirates and China.
Greg Wojciechowski, Chief Executive Officer of the Bermuda Stock Exchange, and Cheryl Packwood, Chief Executive Officer of Business Bermuda, attended the conference and presented on the benefits to offshore incorporation and listing. Greg Wojciechowski also participated in a panel discussion on international financial centres.

Singapore is the undisputed center of wealth management excellence in Asia and a key partner for Bermuda.”
Greg Wojciechowski, CEO of the Bermuda Stock Exchange, said: “Bermuda’s reputation and track record for upholding international standards in investment fund regulation, and its vigilance against money laundering are an example for all offshore jurisdictions. Business Bermuda hosted a Business Bermuda Financial Services Reception in Singapore on 11 April 2011 as part of the effort to further develop the relationship between Bermuda and Singapore.
