Photos & Video: 2011 Mini-May 24th Parade
In anticipation of Bermuda Day, the children at the Cornerstone Day Care this morning [May 20] held a mini-May 24th parade of their own — and even the Gombeys were there to take part in the festivities.
The pre-schoolers, decked out in their colourful holiday attire, marched from their school onto Roberts Avenue and down Parsons Road to the neighbourhood playground.
While there were no floats in the mini-parade, some of the little ones were pulled along the road in wagons. Residents and other well-wishers lined the streets and cheered the toddlers on, while proud parents walked with them along the route.
Too cute!!!!
