Neil Roberts Pens ‘Blues & Beatles’
Former Bermuda resident Neil Roberts has penned his first book ‘Blues & Beatles’ – a story of football and music across generations.
Mr Roberts is a long time Everton Football Club supporter, and said he grew up “addicted to football and The Beatles.”
Following his father’s footsteps into a career in journalism, he went on to work for the Liverpool Echo, BBC, ITN, and The Royal Gazette – before finally penning this book on his two great passions over the last 12 months.
“Its is the story of football and music across the generations,” says Mr Roberts, “The story of how a young boy inherited those fascinations from his father – and would one day pass them on to his own son.
The synopsis for the 224-page book says, “Duncan Ferguson. David Moyes. Paul McCartney. A passion for Everton and The Beatles.
