Police Cadet Recruitment Underway

The Bermuda Police Service is currently recruiting young people interested in joining the Police Cadet Programme. All applicants are expected to sign a contract with satisfactory sureties to serve as a Constable in the Bermuda Police Service for at least three years after completing an Associate Degree.

Applications can be picked up at Somerset, Hamilton and Southside Police Stations as well as the Police Training School at Police Headquarters in Prospect Devonshire. Completed applications should be addressed to Bermuda Police Recruiting or Police Training School and must be dropped off to the Police Administration Building or Police Training School at Police Headquarters.

Candidates must:

• be between 16 and 21 years old.
• be in good physical and mental health.
• pass the Police Service vetting process including the Initial Recruitment Test, security checks, medical tests, a home visit and the Assessment Board.
