Bermuda Couple Release New Gospel CD
Bermudian songwriter and producer, Stephen Hall, has released his first CD entitled ‘Beyond Expectations….Thoughts from an Unspoken Mind’, an album featuring his wife, Angie.
The album was released byr their company, Angie Hall Music Inc.
Mr. Hall was born and raised in Bermuda, attending the Francis Patton Primary School and The Berkeley Institute before heading off to Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida.
It was in Florida where he met and married his wife who is originally from North Carolina. They have two daughters, ages five and seven.
Both have been involved with music since they were children. Mr. Hall started out playing the violin at age five and two years later started on drums under the instruction of renowned Bermudian percussionist Eddie Ming. He was a drummer with the Bermuda Regiment Band and performed with the group Storm under Mr. Ming.
Mrs. Hall comes from a family of singers.
She has been singing since she was a child and eventually became a member of her church youth choir when she came of age and has been singing ever since.
Although a talented and dedicated choir member, she was content to be in the background seldom seeking the spotlight until now.
The CD was released October 1, and has had some very favourable feedback, including the following comments:
• “I don’t listen to Gospel Music, but I really enjoyed this. It has something for everyone.”
• “Allow God to use you to transform what the world calls music….The glory of the Father glows all over you; you are beautiful and talented.”
• “Angie Hall will be the next gospel great if this debut album is any indication! Great job, I am truly blessed by your gift! ”
• “This project is better than many of the major label offerings”
The first single, “I Wanna Know” has seen Internet radio play in the US, and is available on I tunes, Amazon MP3, Rhapsody, Spotify, and many other digital outlets.
