Man Charged With Drug Importation
In Plea Court this morning [Oct.25], before Senior Magistrate Archie Warner, 23-year-old Kenton Butterfield-Smith faced an indictable charge of drugs importation.
The outline of the charge is that between a date unknown and the 19th April 2011, he conspired with others not before the Courts to import a quantity of cannabis.
Because the charge is indictable, Butterfield-Smith was not required to enter a plea. However, apparently not fully understanding the procedure, Butterfield-Smith could be heard telling the Magistrate that he was not guilty.
The DPP’s office had no objection to bail. Butterfield-Smith was granted bail of $10,000 with one like Surety, that he must surrender all his travel documents, and report every Monday to Hamilton Police Station.

Once all the case facts are released to the publuc, this case along with a variety of other similar unjust cases will be exposed on a new website…. Keep an eye out for this site, it will expose a lot of underhanded things that se going on throughout the island. Beware
