Bermuda’s Conyers Receives Top Rankings
Bermuda’s Conyers Dill & Pearman has recently received glowing reviews from clients and peers in international law firm league tables as the island remains a jurisdiction of choice for global cross-border transactions.
“Legal 500″, a directory of law firms across the globe, has placed Conyers at the top of its recommendations for Bermuda trust, insurance, litigation and corporate work, describing it as “a truly excellent firm with great lawyers and great people.”
Conyers is the only law firm in Bermuda to receive top rankings in each area, reflecting the firm’s leadership and expertise across all of its practices.
Last month, US-based “International Financial Law Review” also placed Conyers’ Bermuda practice at the top of its 2011 Guide to the World’s Leading Financial Law Firms, and comments that “one client says Conyers is the best law firm on the island … their overall technical knowledge is excellent.”
Earlier this year, Conyers was named Bermuda Firm of the Year by research agency Who’s Who Legal, the official research partner of the International Bar Association and strategic research partner of the ABA Section of International Law, which rates law firms in 31 practice areas and over 100 countries.
Conyers also received top rankings earlier this year from UK-based Chambers and Partners, which describes its Bermuda practice as “a benchmark in the jurisdiction” with an “undisputed leading position in Bermuda” and highlights Conyers’ “innovative, responsive and practical team” of lawyers.
Conyers is delighted to receive these accolades and is pleased to report that a large number of Bermudian lawyers have also been recognised within these reviews. Conyers prides itself on providing the highest quality responsive, timely and thorough legal advice to clients in Bermuda and across the globe, and is pleased to play a role in ensuring that Bermuda remains a jurisdiction of choice for global transactions.
Conyers Dill & Pearman advises on the laws of Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cyprus and Mauritius. Conyers’ lawyers specialise in company and commercial law, commercial litigation and private client matters.
Founded in Bermuda in 1928, Conyers comprises 550 staff including 150 lawyers.
