Teen Charged With Burglaries

17-year-old Tahva Virgil pleaded not guilty to a string of three charges involving burglary and theft of a TV, laptop, game consoles, wallets, jewelry, cellphones, wine, and liquor in Magistrates Court this morning [Dec.8]

All three offences were alleged to have occurred at different residences in Southampton Parish on 2nd December. The total value of goods said to be stolen from the residences was said to be $9,492.

The teenager was also charged with possessing a burglar’s tool in the form of a crowbar when he was arrested on 3rd December.

Represented by lawyer Elizabeth Christopher, he will re-appear for mention on 15th December and was remanded in custody until then.
