Upcoming: 3rd Budo Cup Championships
Jiketsu Martial Productions Foundation will be hosting the 3rd Budo Cup Championships at the BHS Gymnasium this coming Saturday [Dec.17], with the tournament due to start at 10 a.m. Admission is $10 for adults, and $5 for children.
This official World Karate Federation [WKF] sanctioned tournament will display the agility and kumite skill-sets of Children, Cadets and Juniors providing for a full morning of entertaining action.
The Dojo Development Award of Excellence [monetary grant] will be awarded to the top three clubs at the end of the event. The determinant factors for the award will include the number of victories per dojo, skill and sportsmanship of the competitors [as per WKF regulations] and the professionalism of the competitors and their coaches on and off the
This event will feature some of Bermuda’s most promising young martial artists and successful participants will be scouted as potential members of the WKF Junior National Team representing Bermuda at future World WKF Championships.
