Photos: Estwanik & Bell Win 10K
[Updated with photos] Chris Estwanik won the Bermuda International Race Weekend 10K this morning [Jan.14], Lamont Marshall finished second overall, while Stephen Slatery finished third, and Rolanda Bell was the first female finisher across the line.
Estwanik crossed the line in a time of 31.03, while Lamont Marshall finished second overall clocking 31.33, Stephen Slattery finished third recording a time of 32.39,with Tim Konoval finishing fourth overall in a time of 32.39. Sean Trott finished fifth when he crossed the line in a time of 33.50 and Stephen Allen sixth in 34.06.
Douglas Wakiihuri of Kenya was the seventh runner to cross the finish line in a time of 35.08, with Juma Mouchette clocking 36.21 to finish in tenth.
Rolanda Bell, who finished third in the Front Street Mile last night, was crowned the Female 2012 International Race Weekend 10K Champion.
Bell was the tenth person to cross the line, she was clocked at 36.27, with Korene Hinds next across the line to finish as the second female finisher with a time of 37.22, Mardrea Hyman rounded out the top three female finishers when she recorded a time of 38.12 finishing 14th overall.
Tamika Williams was the first Bermudian Female runner to cross the line and the fourth female overall clocking a time of 41.15 finishing 30th overall.
