Two Arrests For Impaired Driving
Police arrested two drivers on suspicion of driving under the influence in the early hours of this morning.
Around 2:40am on Monday [Jan. 9], a car was travelling along Crow Lane, Pembroke near the junction with Corkscrew Hill when it was caused to stop by police officers on mobile patrol.
The driver, a 29-year-old Southampton man was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving as a result. He was detained in police custody. A court appearance is anticipated in due course.
Some 35 minutes later at 3:15am, police officers on mobile patrol along Par-La-Ville Road, Pembroke noticed a car that was driving in an erratic manner.
The driver, a 29-year-old Warwick man, was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving as a result. He was also detained in police custody and a court appearance is pending.
