BCB & BCUA Congratulate Roger Dill
The Bermuda Cricket Board and Bermuda Cricket Umpire’s Association have congratulated local umpire Roger Dill for being selected to umpire in the United Arab Emirates for the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier.
President of the Bermuda Cricket Board Lloyd Fray stated, “I would like to congratulate Roger on his selection to officiate at the T20 Qualifier. As a member of the ICC Associate and Affiliate Panel of Umpires, Roger is Bermuda’s highest ranked international umpire and this appointment is a testament to his international umpiring career to date.”
The Bermuda Cricket Umpire’s Association stated, “The BCUA is delighted at Steven’s appointment to stand in the ICC WCL Division 5 tournament in Singapore and this is one more step in the pathway of our umpires’ career development.
“This marks another opportunity to showcase on the international stage the excellent quality of our local officials. In being exposed to the mentorship offered by ICC Elite Umpire Tony Hill, Douggie is well positioned to further uplift his colleagues and local cricket during the coming season.
