Brothers Charged With Burglary Offence

In Plea Court yesterday [Feb.6], brothers Kwesi and Ronald Wilson, 37 and 40, and both said to be residents of Sandy’s, pleaded not guilty to charges of trespass and possession of burglary tools.

The charges stem from a Police arrest made during the hours of darkness in a Paget neighbourhood that had a neighbourhood watch scheme in place. The Police arrest took place on 1st February 2012.

Both Kwesi Wilson and Ronald Wilson were charged with trespassing with intent to steal. This alleged offence was said to have occurred at a dwelling on Berry Hill Road in Paget. Each man pleaded not guilty.

Separately, Kwesi Wilson was charged with being in possession of an article intended for use in a burglary, namely a pair of gloves. Kwesi Wilson pleaded not guilty.

Ronald Wilson was charged with being in possession of articles intended for use in a burglary, namely a pair of gloves, a screwdriver, and a Multitool. Ronald Wilson pleaded not guilty

Defended by lawyer Marc Daniels, the brothers were remanded into custody. They re-appear for mention on Valentine’s day 14th February 2012.
