Dark male, dark bike, dark helmets, dark visors. I see a pattern here.

  2. The road to hell says:

Really? Amazing detective work there, BPS. Pretty sure there is CCTV in the area…..track a number plate maybe?

    • Unbelievable says:

More proof that NONE of the CCTV cameras are actually hooked up yet and that they are merely a way of pacifiying the public to believe that they are safe, just like the ankle bracelets that have no actual GPS hook up or monitoring. THE BPS and Bda Government need to stop lying to the public about these two issues and tell the truth.

      • S Brown says:

Perhaps you should vent your frustrations to the people who are eye witnesses to such incidents and refuse to say anything.

Or the enablers or the ones who turn a blind eye to the criminal elements inour society.

Police and Gov’t can only do so much….

  3. cant believe it says:

we should be looking for dark coloured motorcycle and dark helmets…thats easy DARTH VADER is the one your looking for!!

  4. Serious Though says:

bullet proof windows ,love it Sir John! moving in soon!

  5. Bermudadude says:

Are they going to ban dark colored bikes next? Just wondering…………..

  6. Winnie says:

I concur ban everything dark, not trying to make fun of the continuation of these serious crimes, however people are calling for dark visors to be banned. So here goes dark bike, dark helmet, dark visors, dark jacket, dark person.

  7. Bank Rolled says:

Hold Up Hold Up Hold Up!…..You mean to tell me that there were no police officers in the area at that time????…..Police are slow off the mark…Why police are never outside night clubs or around night clubs during closing time?????….Knowing town is a hot area or any night club for that matter.

Or are the police at their own party at the Police Club having donuts and chocolate milk?

    • Just One says:

Exactly what I said, minus the milk and donuts ;)

    • amen says:

Please they are around on Front Street. They don’t care about the other “folk”.

      • BobtheBuilder says:

U mean they ain’t worried about protecting the safety of black folks.

        • amen says:

          Yup.

          • Mike Auxard says:

Oh please, if the police were positioned outside your “Folk” clubs , you would be bitching that blacks are being picked on by racist police or some dumb sh@t

            • Observer says:

Oh, good grief…sing the same old song, why don’t you? Front Street on weekends is well-known for numerous fights, knife attacks, drunk drivers in droves…get it through your heads. They can’t be everywhere all the time. Do you expect them to be psychic? They’re supposed to know that at 3.45bthat morning this guy was going to walking along behind Seon Place and get shot at? PUH-LEEEZE. There have been no incidents of THIS nature there before…

On another, possibly more CONSTRUCTIVE note…why can’t bikes be kitted out with an identifier of some sort? Embedded into the license sticker or something that would show to whom the bike belonged? Just a thought.

            • amen says:

No I would not. They should be outside patrolling ALL CLUBS/BARS, places that are frequented by large groups of people + involving alcohol. That’s common sense for police to be present. I can’t help it if the harsh facts bother you. You must be racist if it got you that hot and bothered.

              • amen says:

That comment was to Mike A$$hole. I mean Auxard.

    • March Hare says:

There are plenty of police on Front St at closing time, (3:00am for clubs) Then there are police at Ice Queen after 3 on the weekends. I have seen them at both locations. Very sensible I think. This was outside Shines at 3:50… Why is Shine’s still open then?
These things happen so quickly that unless there was a police unit sat there, they have little chance of catching them in the act… here’s how it happens –
      1. Bike approaches, passenger on back takes out gun and fires.
      2. People hear gunshots and duck for cover
      3. Someone composes him/her self enough to pick up their cell and dial 911
      4. “Which service, police, ambulance or fire?”
      5. “Police there’s been a….”
      6. “Please wait while I transfer your call”
      7. “Police, how may I help you?”
      8. “There’s been a shooting outside Shines”
      9. “Did you get a description of the shooter?”
      10. “They were riding a dark colored bike, dark clothing and tinted visors”
      11. “Hold the line please ma’am”…
      12. Police dispatcher radios information to armed police units, who may be on Front Street, or patrolling the ‘high risk’ areas
      13. Let’s say the nearest armed police unit was up St. Monica’s – they have to come down The Glebe Road, across Parsons Road, up Court St and over to Shines.
Now – how long do you think the above will take? Enough time for the perpetrators to have made good their escape in the ‘rabbit warren’ of streets and alleys adjoining Shelton Road, Happy Valley Road etc. perhaps?

    • Finally Left says:

If the police were there, the shooting may/probably would not have happened…and there would be no discussion

Now, Im not saying that this is good… definitely it would be better that they were there and the shooting didnt happen… my point though is that this is all in hindsight.

I have not heard of major incident’s in that area before.. and if there was a cop there, its not like we would be commending them for “stopping the shooting”…. we woudl effectively be ignoring the fact that the cop’s presence stopped a shooting because we would not have known about it…

this is basically a case of silence normally, and we can only voice oru concerns when they are NOT there… they could have stood post 360 nights a year… but out of the 5 if something happened once then everyone complains where were the cops??

  8. Lol says:

How can u buss shots in twn n not get caught. D Po Po are all Sissys
