New Board Members At Focus Counselling

Over the course of the past year Focus Counselling Services has inducted two new Board members – Mark Jennings and Lynne Greaves.

Mr. Jennings is currently Assistant Vice President of Investments with the LOM Group of Companies. He has a history of serving every community in which he has been a resident. Mrs. Greaves former UK positions in sales and education have given her a tremendous edge in her role of fund raising for Focus.

The move to Bermuda with her husband has given Ms Greaves a unique perspective on the island. Her desire to participate in helping our community led her to assist Focus. Volunteering for such a worthwhile cause gives her a sense of satisfaction and the opportunity of making a difference while contributing to her current home.

Focus Counselling has had to say goodbye to Roger Trott who has served as a counselor and a Deputy Director for the past 5 years. Mr. Trott is moving on to run the men’s substance abuse treatment program that is offered by the government.

Mr. Trott’s replacement was introduced at the meeting and he is Dr. Ernest Peets. Dr. Peets is a counselor who has a wide variety or experience and skill. He most recently served as a senior probation officer.

Focus said that at the recently held board meeting a number of new strategies were introduced including plans to make Focus even more successful in serving client needs.
