Conyers Promotes Lawyers In Bermuda, Hong Kong
Conyers Dill & Pearman has promoted 3 lawyers to the role of Partner/Director. Bernadette Chen of Conyers’ Hong Kong Corporate team has been promoted to Partner, while Karen Corless and Jason Piney of Conyers’ Bermuda Corporate and Private Client teams have been promoted to Director.

Bernadette Chen of Conyers’ Hong Kong Corporate team has over 10 years’ experience in corporate finance, privatisation and corporate restructuring matters. She advises clients on private equity transactions, joint ventures, pre-IPO financings, IPOs and listings of shares in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the USA.
Karen Corless of Conyers’ Bermuda Private Client team has substantial expertise in international and local estate planning arrangements; reviewing, restructuring and resettling trusts; trust interpretation; and advising individual and corporate trustees and private trust companies on their duties and obligations.
Jason Piney of Conyers’ Bermuda Corporate team is recognised as an authority in offshore aircraft finance and has acted on several multi-billion dollar transactions during the past year. He also has broad experience in a variety of international financial and corporate transactions, including IPOs, acquisitions, cross-border financings and structured financings.
