Police Appeal For Witnesses To Alleged Assault
Detectives are continuing to appeal for any witnesses or anyone with any information regarding an alleged assault around 10:55pm on Thursday [July 26] in the Horseshoe Road, Horseshoe Lane Southampton area, the police said.
“At last check the victim, a 46 year old Southampton man, was recovering on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
“Inquiries into this incident are ongoing and anyone who may have been traveling through the Horseshoe Road, Southampton area around the time of the alleged assault and saw any suspicious activity is encouraged to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010,” concluded the statement from the police.
