Hurricane Warning Expected For This Weekend
Tropical Storm Leslie is expected to become a hurricane and pass by Bermuda late Saturday/early Sunday morning, and local officials said it is likely they will issue a Hurricane Watch on Thursday [Sept 6] and that we will likely be under a Hurricane warning for Friday and Saturday.
At 11pm, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said Leslie was 505 miles south south-east of Bermuda, and moving towards the north north-west at 3mph. Leslie’s maximum sustained winds are near 65mph [100km/h] with higher gusts.

“A Tropical Storm watch will likely be issued later on Wednesday, and then a Tropical Storm Warning coupled with a Hurricane Watch will likely be issued later on Thursday.”
“We will likely be under a Hurricane warning for Friday and Saturday.”
