Lewis Finishes 8th In Paralympic 100m Final
All the waiting was over as Bermuda’s Paralympian Jessica Lewis took to the track today [Sept 2] for the women’s 100 meter T53 event at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
With eight competitors, Lewis found herself straight into the Finals. The build up to these Paralympic Games for Lewis has been an emotional ride and Lewis who was drawn in Lane 7 took it all in stride.
Lewis finished in 8th place clocking a time of 19:38, Lisha Huang from China won the event clocking 16:42, while Hongzhuan Zhou also from China finished second clocking 16:90 and Angela Ballard from Australia finished third clocking 17:14.
