“Gemineye” To Perform At Bermuda College
Bermuda College Literary Society [BCLS] — a student club aimed at promoting literary consciousness among the campus and community — will be hosting spoken word artist “Gemineye” later this month.
A spokesperson said, “This powerfu, and versatile slam poet, Christopher Kuretich, also known as Gemineye offers a timely and thought provoking message fit for young people.
“This world class poet has been a two time slam poetry champion, featured on three seasons of Def Jam Poetry on HBO, performed for the First anual Hip-Hop Summit Action Network Awards with audience including P. Diddy, Russel Simmons and the like and currently showcases his exceptional talent to audiences all over the US.”
Gemineye’s rendition of ‘What are you fighting for?’
He will be at the Bermuda College Library on Monday March 25th at 6:00p.m. This workshop is for teachers as well as the community, and is approved by the Bermuda Educators Board enabling teachers to earn professional development.
Also, on Tuesday March 26th from 2:15pm – 4pm at the Bermuda College lecture theatre G301 in West Hall, Gemineye will perform and answer questions from middle, high and Bermuda College students as well as the community. All of these events are free.
