Photo Set #1: BAA St. Baldrick’s Head Shaving
Last night [Mar 15] crowds of supporters, family and friends turned out to support those that stepped up to the plate to have their heads shaved for a worthy cause as part of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser. The morning had kicked off with dozens of Saltus students shaving their heads for the cause, and raising in excess of $100,000.
The Foundation supports funding for childhood cancer research primarily through international head-shaving events. It was founded in 2000, and in 2002 the very first international event was held here in Bermuda. You can view all our coverage of St Baldrick’s events in the past here.
