Photo Set #2: 2013 KiteFest Good Friday Event

Hundreds of people made their way to the Horseshoe Bay Beach in Southampton for the Good Friday [Mar 29] KiteFest event, which was hosted by Chewstick.

The day was filled with activities which included kite-flying, a kite competition, musical entertainment, the Gombeys and more. Premier Craig Cannonier, Governor George Fergusson and Environment Minister Sylvan Richards were among those in attendance.

The Kite Competition had categories including Best Boxy, Biggest Kite, Smallest Kite, Best Design, Best Traditional Kite, Best Innovative Kite Design, Loudest Kite, and even the Ugliest Kite. You can view the first set of KiteFest photos here, and all our coverage of Good Friday here.
