Drug Charges: Men Sentenced To 12 & 15 Yrs

Everett Bean and Randolph Simons were both sentenced in the Supreme Court today [Apr 4], with Bean receiving 15 years and Simons sentenced to 12 years.

Both men were convicted of conspiracy to import over $450,000 worth of cocaine from the Caribbean. 47-year-old Bean, who received the longer sentence, was referred to as the “kingpin.”

Given a chance to speak in front of Justice Greaves, Simons said: “God is not deaf. God is not blind,” while Bean said: “I maintain my innocence. I’m a victim to the system.”
