Weekend Arrests: 17 For Warrants, Drunk Driving
Over this past weekend [Apr 20/21], police officers arrested four people on suspicion of impaired driving as the Selective Traffic Enforcement Programme [STEP] continues.
One of them was a 23-year-old Pembroke man who was stopped by police at 3:45am on Sunday after police officers saw him riding erratically along South Road in Paget.
Officers also arrested 13 people for outstanding warrants and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
