Photos: USA South Defeat Bermuda Rugby Team
[Updated with slideshow] The Bermuda National Rugby team lost 24 – 14 to the USA South team on Saturday [May 18] at the National Sports Centre.
Lucas Baistrocchi kicked a penalty early in the match to give the visitors the 3 – 0 lead, Bermuda missed a chance to level the score but their penalty kick attempted went wide. The USA South then went ahead 10 – 0 after Derek Wolfe went over for a try, with Baistrocchi kicking the Conversion.
Bermuda got on the scoreboard when Mikey Williams went over for a try and when Andre Landy kicked the conversion it made the score 10 – 7.
In the second half, USA South got tries from Kirk Swanner and Ty Elkins, while Baistrochhi added two more conversions, Bermuda got a try from Jahan Cedenio and Thomas Edwards kicked the conversion, however USA South held on and defeated Bermuda.
No one is writing about this lost, oh! forgot, it is not cricket?……!!!
Bermuda are the reigning Caribbean champions at rugby, Bermuda can’t even beat Nepal at cricket!!!!
