2000lb Shark Heads Back Towards Bermuda

Lydia — a 2000lb 14ft 6in great white shark — is heading back in the direction of Bermuda, according to non-profit organization ocean research group OCEARCH.

According to the latest data on their tracking website, the shark passed by our general direction in April, then headed up to the north-east area of the United States. She then headed out to the mid-Atlantic, before turning around and heading back towards Bermuda.

  4. I wonder if their is any ole fashion Bermudians around that knows how to make shark hash, It would be good to actually get it from somebody that knows what they are doing and not these local restaurants, who have Indians making it and taste like their native foods.

    No there isn’t Duane and the kids nowadays are too busy playin’ with their XBOXs and BBin’ their friends to care about and learn about THEIR CULTURE!

      We have foreigners teaching us about our own heritage and they know nothing about it but what is in the little books we have and somewhere along the way parents stopped teaching their kids about our own history, so maybe its your generation because the children only do what the parents allow them.

    Seems a bit cruel, the action and tagging the animal. But I guess they know best and won’t put Lydia in unnecessary pain.. Nice to track such a wonderful animal.
