Basketball League: Outlaws Defeat Storm
The Bermuda Basketball Association’s CellOne Elite City League season continued last night [June 5] with one game on tap inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium. The Storm came up against the Outback Outlaws in their second meeting in 2 weeks.
The Storm had to come from behind in the first half and were ahead with 5 minutes left to go in the game, the Outlaws went to their closer Dean Jones who scored a game high 28 points as they defeated the Storm 57 – 43. Jaron Haley scored 17 points for the Storm who lost their leader Steven Simons due to a knee injury.
