Day #7 Results: ITF Junior Circuit Tournament

The seventh day of the ITF Junior Circuit Tournament going on at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium with the Ladies Under 18 Singles Final and the Boy’s Under 18 Semi-Finals.

Elysse Graci won the Under 18 Ladies Singles Final having to go three sets to do so against Laura Fabrizi. Graci won the first set 6-2, before Fabrizi won the second set 6-0 and then Graci won the third and final set 7-6.

Bermuda’s Tyler Smith and her partner Mingxiu Du then took to the court for the Under 18 Women’s Doubles Final the pair battled Graci and her partner Breana Stampfli.

Tyler Smith and her partner Mingxiu Du won the Final in straight sets 6-4, 6-1.

In the Under 18 Boy’s Singles Semi-Finals James Wasserman defeated the number one seed Shaquille Taylor 6-2, 7-6, he will face Jake Van Slyke in the Final after he defeated Kevin Major in a three set battle. Major won the first set 6-2, but Van Slyke then won the next two sets 7-6, 6-4.
