Basketball League: Robin Hood, Outlaws Win
The Bermuda Basketball Association’s CellOne Elite City League Playoffs Round 1 got underway inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium on Wednesday night [July 24], with the Robin Hood Warriors defeating the defending champions Bluebirds 66 – 28.
Keiron Dill scored 16 points to lead the Robin Hood Warriors to victory, while Mike Smith scored 12 points for the Bluebirds.
The Outback Outlaws needed over-time to defeat the Fort Knox Panthers 55 – 47. Dean Jones scored a game high 23 points to lead the Outback Outlaws, while Ronnie Bushner scored 15 points for the Fort Knox Panthers.
