New BDOT Tourism Ads To Be Filmed Next Week
Bermuda’s scenic beauty and people will form the backdrop for the next phase of the Bermuda Department of Tourism’s [BDOT] overseas ad campaign this week.
Local Bermudian models and photographic crew are working with the Department’s North American advertising agency Fuseideas to shoot a series of adverts that will continue the “So Much More” campaign that began in 2012.
One of the BDOT’s “So Much More” video ads from 2012:
According to Minister of Tourism Development and Transport Shawn Crockwell the creative concepts for the upcoming campaign have been “carefully tested and researched through extensive surveys to guarantee the advertisements will appeal to Bermuda’s target audience.”
In keeping with the theme of the “So Much More” campaign, all of the concepts are aimed at creating and reinforcing positive feelings about the Bermudian experience.
“We have been very pleased with the overall response to the So Much More campaign as well as the initial response from those surveyed on our concepts for its next phase,” said Minister Crockwell.
“We are excited to showcase what our island has to offer and especially happy to utilize the rich, creative Bermudian talent pool to execute the shoot as they work in conjunction with the team at Fuseideas. I fully expect the end results to lead to a very successful response from our target audience.”
Earlier this week, the Department of Tourism also worked with the CBS Altitude Group to record interviews with local Bermudians as a continuation to CBS’s “Meet the Bermudians” series of advertisements.
The Department of Tourism expects to debut the next phase of the “So Much More” campaign in the Fall.
