Scraders Breaks Bermuda Jr Record In Ukraine
Bermuda’s Kyrah Scraders shattered the Bermuda Junior 800m record on her way to making the semi finals in the IAAF World Youth Championship in the Ukraine.
Scraders — who won two medals in this year’s Carifta Games — made it to the next round of the World Youth Championship running a time of 2:08.91.

Bermuda National Athletic Association President Donna Watson called it a “huge personal best”, explaining that Scraders time of 2:08.91 was well under her old best time of 2:10.93. She placed 3rd overall in her heat and at this time is ranked 8th out of the 29 athletes.
