Bermuda Jr Golf Association Season Kicks Off
The Bermuda Junior Golf Association started the season off this weekend at the Turtle Hill Golf Club at The Fairmont Southampton Hotel. All players played 18 holes except for where it’s stated otherwise.
Newly promoted this year to the White Tees Group was most improved player for 2012, Jordan Saunders, who seemed to manage the”newly promoted pressure” very well in shooting a 65. He finished third in his group behind Alex Mason who shot the low round of the day with a 60 and Brady Cordeiro, second, shooting a 63.
In the 18 hole Red Tee Group, Kenny Leseur and Emma Roberts had very solid rounds of 70 and 71 respectively to start their seasons off strong.
In the 9 hole Red Tee Group, John Dragonetti fired a 43 finishing 9 strokes ahead of second place finisher John Ewles on 52.
