Rudy Bailey Wins International Comet Regatta
West End Sailboat Club sailor Rudy Bailey recently defended his Comet International Championship crown in Shrewsbury, New Jersey.
Bailey said, “With the winds light to moderate and sailing with a lite female crew Dominique Newbelt made the work even easier”.
Bailey recorded four wins a sixth and a eighth in the 23 boat Fleet. Bailey who has sailed only one race this summer, the Edward Cross Long Distance Race, said, “In this race you have to sail smart and you have to sail fast”.
