Renegades And Police Are Hatters Champions
Renegades Men and the Police Ladies are the inaugural “Mad Hatters’ Rugby Tournament” 2013 Champions following action on Friday [Oct 11] night at the National Sports Center.
The Renegades got tries from Alex Donkervoet and Jahan Caderio as they defeated the Mariners 10 – 0. They followed that performance with another 10 – 0 win with tries from Caderio and Kehano Bean as they defeated Teachers.
The Renegades next faced off against Police and defeated them 12-7. The Renegades got tries from Bernard Opoku and Mike Williams while Rich Cumbers kicked the conversion. Johnny Sykes scored the lone try for the Police and Tommy Edwards kicked the conversion.
The Police defeated the Mariners 17 – 0 with Guerhardt Lambreght, David Sidders and Sykes all scoring a try each for the Police while Edwards kicked a conversion.
