Wells Out For “At Least A Couple Of Weeks”
Bermudian striker Nahki Wells has been ruled out of Bradford City’s playing plans for “at least a couple of weeks” following his ankle injury during Saturday’s match.
The Telegraph & Argus reports that the results of the scan on his injured left ankle today revealed he had suffered ligament damage from the challenge by Shrewsbury defender Dave Winfield.
Bradford manager Phil Parkinson told the T&A: “The scan showed there was nothing really serious. He will be out for at least a couple of weeks but we will know more when the swelling goes down.”
