Buddhist Chaplain To Speak On Philosophy
Khenpo Migmar Tseten, the Buddhist chaplain at Harvard University and the Director of the Sakya Institute for Buddhist Studies in Cambridge, will be hosting a public talk on the island tonight [Nov 8], providing an opportunity to learn more about the unique teachings of the Buddhist philosophy.
Titled “On the Four Immeasurables: Love, Compassion, Joy, and Equanimity,” the talk will be held at the Phoebe Purvis Memorial Hall at 7.00pm, with the doors opening at 6.30pm.
