November 20, 2013

[Updated] The four men arrested yesterday remain in police custody and the police said a court appearance is “anticipated in due course.” They range in age from 24 to 43 years old.

At around 11am yesterday [Nov 19] police responded to a burglary in progress in Warwick. Police initially arrested 3 people and said the 4th suspect “fled from the house and barricaded himself in a house close by.”

After a five hour period and a large police presence in the area, the 4th suspect was arrested at just past 4pm.

There had been some initial concern a firearm may have been involved, however Police said there was “no evidence to support a firearm was used and a firearm was not found.”

  4. wOW says:

At age 43 he should be setting an example for the younger ones. He has to be caught up on drugs or alcohol. Definitely stupid. Yesterday tear gas should have been used after 1 hour. Wasting peoples time and inconveniencing the residents. A public whipping would be in order and lucky he not in some of those countries where they cut your hands off for stealing. SMH

    • tricks are for kids.... says:

I would have to disagree on that….If there WERE jobs out there we would not have over 1,000 people unemployed……

  11. go figure says:

Why do the police always patrol an area AFTER something big happens shouldnt they be doing it anyways isnt it their job? I thought thats what they got paid for? I understand they cant be every where at every minute of the day but they should be patrolling more than a few days after an incident happens!!

    • swing voter says:

overpaid and underworked….no more speed traps, foot patrol either. Old skool cops were concerned about a/c in patrol cars. aircon on, windows up, limits their ability to hear gun shots and cries for help.

  12. No longer a member says:

They need parental guidence and a floggin! They also need their tubes tide so that they don’t create monsters like themselves. When is this government going to send them to Mexico or Jamaica’s prison system so that can do real time. If the government wants to save money, no more prison uniforms and provide one meal (Breakfast) the rest has to be provided by those who created them or they go without. This happens elsewhere, why not here??
