41 Year Old Man Denies Stealing Wine & Wallet
A 41-year-old man appeared in Magistrates Court today [Dec 30] where he denied stealing wine and a wallet from a Sandys home, telling the Court he was drunk and doesn’t recall the alleged offence.
Ian Raynor pleaded not guilty to stealing a bottle of wine, a wallet, and HSBC debit and credit cards. The items were said to have a value of $147.
He told the Court he was drunk and hence does not recall, however the Prosecutor said that Mr Raynor’s electronic monitoring device — which he is wearing due to a previous charge — indicated he was at the property.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo remanded Mr Raynor into custody, and he is set to appear at a later date.

Ahhh the good ole, “I was drunk and I don’t remember doing that so it couldn’t have happened” excuse. If my girlfriend doesn’t buy it, I’m sure a judge won’t either.
