Basketball: Hamilton, St George’s, Chargers Win
The Bermuda Basketball Association’s Elite City League season continued inside the Somersfield gymnasium with a Triple Header.
In the opener the Hamilton Tsunamis defeated the Paget Bearcats 57 – 35. Kevin Stephens scored a game high 19 points to lead the Hamilton Tsunamis to victory, while Jason Gonsalves scored 10 points for the Paget Bearcats.
The St. George’s International defeated the Southampton Titans 50 – 34. The St. George’s Internationals were lead to victory with a game high 22 points from Dean Jones, while Ryan Vega scored 10 points for the Southampton Titans.
The Hamilton Parish Chargers defeated the Pembroke Cane Toads 57 – 51. Dave Gibbons led the Hamilton Parish Chargers to victory with 15 points, while Gakai Clarke scored a game high 21 points but in a losing cause for the Pembroke Cane Toads.
