Fire Service Investigates Warwick Bike Fire
The Bermuda Fire Service is investigating the cause of a bike fire that occurred on Sunday morning [Dec 29] in a Warwick neighbourhood.
Fire Service spokesperson Lieutenant Leonard Davis said, “On Sunday December 29th, 2013 at 9:10am the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a report of a bike fire near Stadium Lane, Warwick.
“The duty crew arrived on scene to find the fire extinguished but smoldering areas still visible. A booster reel was used to cool and extinguish the smoldering areas. A fire investigator was called to the scene to determine the cause of the fire. The cause is still currently under investigation.”
