Video: Governor, Premier’s Christmas Messages

Governor George Fergusson and Premier Craig Cannonier have released the broadcast versions of their Christmas messages for this year.

Premier Cannonier said, “In this Christmas season and beyond, let us resolve to reflect that hope and build a future together where despite our differences, we live in our beautiful Bermuda in harmony and in the spirit of love, where our children know true joy; and where peace and prosperity is realized by all, leaving no one behind.”

Governor George Fergusson said, “In the midst of Christmas, we celebrate the birth of Jesus. And in Bermuda we have much – even in relatively hard times – to be thankful for.

“Bermuda faces difficult choices and difficult times. But it has by world standards superb assets – cultural, economic, human and physical, even climatic, for the most part.”
