Basketball League: Southampton, Somerset Win
The Bermuda Basketball Elite Premier League Season continued inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium with a Double Header.
In the opener the Southampton Titans defeated the Paget BearCats 53 – 38. Marcus Robinson scored a game high 21 points in a losing effort for the Paget BearCats, while current Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association’s Men’s number one seed David Thomas led the Southampton Titans to victory with 18 points.
In the nightcap the Somerset Flyers defeated the Pembroke CaneToads 70 – 38. Kariim O’Connor led the Somerset Flyers to victory with a game high 20 points, while Jericho Tucker scored 18 points for the Pembroke CaneToads.
