Berry, Outerbridge Place 2nd & 4th In Virginia
Ashley Berry and Allison Outerbridge recently competed in the Virginia Tech Invitational at the Rector Field House in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Ashley Berry represented Duke University in the Women’s 3000m, finishing fourth with a time of 9:57.62. The race was won by Carmen Graves who was running unattached, as was the second place finisher Brittany Sheffey. Graves clocked 9:39.42, Sheffey finished in 9:40.76, and Berry’s teammate Juliet Bottorff finished third in a time of 9:47.40.
Also competing was Allison Outerbridge, who represented Tennessee University. Outerbridge recorded a top leap of 12.13m in the Women’s Triple Jump to finish in 2nd place. Ahe also competed in the Women’s Long Jump were she finished 12th with a top leap of 5.28m.
