Jeanette Matthew Joins Hamilton Princess
The Fairmont Hamilton Princess announced the appointment of Jeanette C. Matthew as the hotel’s new director of human resources effective January 6, 2014.
In her new role, Ms. Matthew will be applying her more than 13 years of experience in Bermuda’s human capital sectors to the new position where she will work to further develop and maintain a positive and supportive work environment at The Fairmont Hamilton Princess.
Ms. Matthew will play an integral role in the hotel’s strategic direction as it begins to reposition itself as a result of the multi-million dollar redevelopment that is currently in progress.
Ms. Matthew joins The Fairmont Hamilton Princess from PricewaterhouseCoopers Bermuda, where she held various progressive positions leading to the post of Senior Manager, Human Capital.
During her time at PricewaterhouseCoopers, she was responsible for executing the people strategy, performance management, coaching and development, leading all HR operational activities, HR systems and oversight of recruitment and immigration activities. Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ms. Matthew was employed at Rubis Energy Bermuda Ltd. and BDC 2000 Limited.

Ms. Matthew, a graduate of Acadia University, also holds a Senior Professional Human Resource Designation and a Certificate in Change Management from Cornell University
