Wolves/Rangers Football Match Ruled Draw
The Bermuda Football Association have released a statement on the Abandoned match at the Devonshire Recreation Club on Sunday February 23rd between Wolves and the Southampton Rangers.
The statement reads, “With regards to the outcome of the match between Wolves vs. Southampton Rangers which was abandoned on Sunday, February 23rd due to adverse weather conditions specifically a water-logged pitch.
“The Committee has ruled in accordance with the General Rules for Division Competitions in this regard; that the match which was tied 2-2 at the time of the abandonment shall be recorded as the final score and the application (1) point shall be awarded for the tie to both teams.
“The decision leaves Southampton Rangers in eighth with 15 points and Wolves in ninth with 13 points.”
