Lindos To Lindos Road Race Set For Weekend
The Lindos to Lindos Road Race, organized by the Mid Atlantic Athletic Club and sanctioned by the Bermuda National Athletics Association, is set to take place on Sunday, March 9, bringing together runners from around the island for a day of fun competition.
Partial proceeds from the event will go to the Bermuda Diabetes Association.
The race will start for runners at 8.30am and for walkers at 8.35am, beginning at Lindo’s Family Foods in Warwick and finishing at Lindo’s Market in Devonshire. The route will takes participants along Middle Road through the South Road roundabout, continuing on South Road from there. A left hand turn will take the route to Collectors Hill onto Middle Road, right onto Watlington Road, then left onto Brighton Hill Road before finishing at the Lindo’s Market parking lot.
The entry deadline for the race is today [Mar 5] at 5.00pm; registration can be done online or your form can be dropped off at Sportseller, Lindo’s Family Foods, Lindo’s Market, or The Diabetes Resource Centre.
Late entry is also available during number pick-up on Saturday, March 8. Goodie bags and t-shirts will also be available during early number pick-up for the first 1,000 participants.
