Photos: St David’s Primary School Sports Day

Under bright blue skies, with a cool breeze St. David’s Primary held their annual sports day on Tuesday [Mar 4].

The house captains were Christen Lugo-Elibox and Rachel Mello-Cann for Blue House and Amon Cannonier and Asia Fubler for Gold House.

The vice captains were Shia Smith and Teree’ Trott for Blue House and Zyon Minors and Aaron Paynter for Gold House.

We did all types of races including: Egg and spoon, Sack race, Dress up, Three legged race and the track races: 400 meters, 100 meters, 800 meters, 200 meters, Relay 4×100

The winners of the track races and field events [cricket ball throw, long jump and high jump] that were held on Monday have qualified for the Eastern Zone School Sports that will be held on Tuesday, March 18 at National Stadium.

Both Blue and Gold house had a lot of participants with 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place finishes. Although Gold House won the championship, all participants had great sportsmanship and that’s what sports day is all about.
