CellOne said they have taken to the streets with their custom made, free kites to ensure Bermuda is prepared ahead of this year’s KiteFest at Horseshoe Bay on Good Friday.

“A common challenge at this time of year is for families to find quality time to build kites. This is a conversation heard all too often which has a direct impact on whether or not kids across Bermuda will get to fly one at all.” says Schereene Outerbridge, CellOne Marketing Manager. “

This is a wonderful Bermudian tradition and we want to ensure as many families as possible can participate. Thanks to the Chewstick Foundation along with the other event sponsors, we’re all able to head down to Horseshoe Bay for a whole lot of festive fun in the sun!”

The wireless communications company started its mass donation of kites with Primary schools across the island on Wednesday. If venturing down to KiteFest empty handed, CellOne staff volunteers will be there to greet you with their signature ‘birdie’ kite.
