Man Denies Conspiring To Import Cannabis

In Magistrates Court this morning [May 7], a 36-year-old man denied charges that he conspired to import cannabis into Bermuda.

Keevon Trott pleaded not guilty to the charge of conspiring with others to import cannabis, said to weigh 118.7 grams, between a date unknown and May 2013.

Mr. Trott then pleaded not guilty to conspiring with others to import what was alleged to be 452.9 grams of cannabis between a date unknown and October  2013.

Senior Magistrate Archie Warner granted Trott $15,000 bail, required a Surety, and set a Mention date of May 21, 2014.
